For startes, re:Craft & Relic markets in Franklin, WI (right outside of Milwaukee)…LOVE, LOVE this show. Shop the best in all things vintage, upcycled (that’s me y’all). It is three times a year, I typcially am a vendor at at least one of the events. This year, I did a live interview to promote the January event (check out my press tab on my website), and if you apply to be a vendor.. you will see a picture of me, lol…. Did I mention I LOVE this show!

And when I go to Milwaukee, I LOVE to see my college roommate, Jessica, from Marquette University! Whenever we get together, it’s like time hasn’t passed… and we are still in college! Always a good time! I’m so thankful for her!!

And now you must be asking, but Misty what is your “tried and true” restuarant in Milwaukee, there’s a million….. (I know, so many good ones to pick from, which is why I LOVE Milwaukee)

Story Hill BKC my friends….. YUM! Familiar flavors are elevated with elegant presentation. And y’all, there is FREE wine tastings on Fridays, 4:30-6:30pm, yes FREE. The atmosphere is an A, a casual urban nook. The service is knowledgable and helpful. Jessica and I got the Oxtail Gyoza (you MUST try this, so so good!), shaved brussel sprouts, baked provolone, and the cornflake crusted perch with potato pancake. It was a ton of food, but it was my birthday weekend, AND during a Wisconsin winter storm. Gotta love good old Wisconsin!
